Location: Six Flags Fiesta Texas San Antonio, TX
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $16$18 per hour (based on experience)

ROLE OVERVIEW


The ESIX Sports Arena Supervisor oversees the operations of our state-of-the-art e-sports and gaming attractionbringing next-level hospitality to competitive play. This role is about more than managing an arena: its about setting a tone of inclusion, high energy, professionalism, and fun. You'll lead your team with integrity, inspire through action, and ensure every playerfrom first-time guest to hardcore competitorhas an experience worth remembering.

As a visible, approachable leader, you are responsible for fostering a space thats exciting, welcoming, and guest-centered. Youll be hands-onmentoring team members, resolving technical issues, managing events, and creating moments that connect gaming culture with world-class service. Experience in fast-paced hospitality environments, such as bartending, is a strong assetespecially in delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing multiple priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all aspects of ESIX Arena operations, maintaining high standards for behavior, appearance, safety, and fairness.

  • Treat every guest and team member with professionalism and kindness. Address concerns quickly and constructively to protect the guest experience and team morale.

  • Maintain an orderly arena: ensure stations are sanitized, inventory is stocked, and areas are guest-ready at all times.

  • Proactively solve problems, anticipate operational needs, and follow through on commitments.

  • Stay current with gaming trends, streaming platforms, and esports developments. Share your knowledge with your team and incorporate new ideas into guest experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Prior leadership experience in e-sports, gaming lounges, entertainment, hospitality, food & beverage, or retail

  • Experience in bartending, bar management, or guest service in fast-paced venues

  • Deep understanding of gaming culture and familiarity with platforms like Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Discord, Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation

  • Ability to plan and run events, tournaments, or community activations

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Comfortable handling technical troubleshooting of gaming hardware/software

  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and high-volume days

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

BONUS SKILLS (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)



  • Experience working in gaming cafes, e-sports arenas, LAN centers, or nightlife venues

  • Background in leadership and coaching

  • Social media or content creation skills

  • TIPS or alcohol service certification a plus
