What You Will Be Doing Architect revolutionary programs that transcend traditional academics, creating a powerhouse ecosystem of leadership development, autonomous learning, and healthy competition Spearhead the creation of our flagship campus—from innovative space design to breakthrough staffing models and streamlined operations Craft compelling market positioning and expansion strategies that will turn heads and fill waitlists Engineer the DNA of our school culture, creating scalable systems and traditions that will define the gt.school experience across future locations Become the charismatic evangelist for our model, building buzz and credibility through strategic media presence and key partnerships What You Won’t Be Doing Managing yet another conventional school with the same old classroom-teacher-bell schedule formula Diluting our mission with watered-down gifted programs or standard AP curriculum packages Playing it safe with modest reforms to existing educational structures—we're building the future, not patching the past Chasing vanity metrics or shallow engagement numbers—we measure success by transformative outcomes Working in complete remote isolation—while we're flexible, you'll need to be present in Austin approximately one week monthly to keep things grounded Entrepreneur In Residence Key Responsibilities Lead the creation, validation, and scaling of a revolutionary high-performance education model for gifted students, beginning with our prototype campus and expanding into a nationwide network of excellence. Basic Requirements Track record as a successful founder who's built and scaled a venture (preferably in education or operations) to at least $1M annual revenue Intimate understanding of gifted students' needs and potential, through personal, professional, or lived experience Forward-thinking mindset with demonstrated ability to leverage AI for enhanced execution and decision-making Exceptional ability to communicate vision and convert skeptics into enthusiastic supporters U.S.-based with capability to spend at least one week per month in Austin Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship About Gt.school GT School is revolutionizing education with AI, expert coaching, and 50+ years of learning science.
