Email Marketing Specialist

Our client is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Email & SMS Marketing Specialist who is detail-oriented, a self-starter, and passionate about brand building and storytelling. As a female-founded and led lifestyle brand, we blend art, home décor, fashion apparel, and accessories, all derived from our client’s colorful original artwork.

As the Email & SMS Marketing Specialist, to help us drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue through targeted campaigns and flows. In this role, you will create compelling email and sms marketing content, design templates, segment audiences, and analyze campaign performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in email marketing and possess exceptional writing and design skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage, retain, and convert customers
• Write compelling content and design eye-catching email templates that align with our brand guidelines
• Segment audiences and personalize email content to improve relevance and engagement
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and to create and provide direction for future strategies
• Manage email lists and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align email marketing efforts with overall marketing goals
• Optimize email marketing flows
• Optimize sign up forms
• Provide recommendations for email list growth and retention
• Stay current with email marketing best practices and industry trends
• Perform market research to gain a better understanding of client needs
• Crafting powerful copy that provides value to customers

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field
• At least three years of experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or similar role
• Excellent written communication skills, with a strong focus on grammar, tone, and style
• Proficiency in Klaviyo email marketing platform and other marketing automation tools
• Knowledge of email design principles, HTML, and CSS
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in campaign performance analysis and optimization
• Familiarity with relevant email marketing regulations and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects to completion
