Position Summary: The Electrical Designer will support the design, documentation, and implementation of electrical systems, cabling, and subsystem components. You will collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions that improve manufacturability and product performance. Job Responsibilities: Design and document new cabling that spans multiple subsystems and electrical enclosures Design and document electrical and cabling modifications for existing systems Independently design and document electrical and cabling details based on direction from Engineering Determine optimal distribution of electrical components and cabling across subsystems and enclosures Work from high-level direction; execute detailed design and documentation Work within existing documentation practices and recommend improvements Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams Prepare and present design documentation for stakeholder review Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as assigned Experience & Requirements: Functional/technical skills Attention to detail 5–7 years of experience Mid-Senior level No management experience required Bachelor’s degree required Preferred Qualifications:Certification or equivalent relevant experience in mechanical design, electronics, power distribution, and cable design Certification or equivalent relevant experience in documentation practices for electrical and mechanical systems Compensation: Salary: $85,000–$95,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications) Bonus eligible Benefits: Financial program resources 401(k) Spending and savings accounts Life and AD&D Commuter benefits Health Insurance PTO By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
