Noah's Animal Hospitals recruiting office is pleased to announce we are accepting applications from 1st and 2nd year Veterinary Medicine school students for our Summer Internship.
During the typical 6 to 8-week internship, students will spend their summer experience rotating through our 10 Central Indiana hospitals, with introduction into general practice, emergency, and low-cost community care.
Students interning with Noah's will improve technical and diagnostic skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, intubation, surgical preparation, radiology placement and wound management, while working alongside veterinarians and skilled technical staff. Additionally, our interns receive insight into client communication, triage and diagnostic interpretation, and diagnostic decision making.
Students will spend 6 to 8 weeks with us, with opportunity for lengthier internships on a case-by-case basis, by request, spending typically 2-3 weeks per hospital location/practice focus.
Limited housing is available for out-of-state students, and those with lengthy commutes.
1st year students are paid $8/hr
2nd year are paid $10/hr
