Your Role at Acousti As a Drywall Mechanic , you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of drywall installations for our commercial projects. Working closely with a dynamic team, you will help maintain Acousti's high standards and reputation for excellence. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Read and understand project blueprints. Supervising relevant construction team. Measuring and marking the metal frames using chalk lines. Cutting studs and metal runners to the specified measurements. Installing metal studs to frames. Attaching metal frames with preconfigured horizontal and vertical wallboards. Always ensure compliance with industry and safety standards. Fitting and fastening drywall boards on the frames. Inspecting completed work and verifying it with the design and blueprint. Be able to work on scaffold, aerial lifts, ladders, and stilts. Be able to use powder actuated tools and lasers. Work indoors and outdoors. Must be able to work individually and as a team player. Maintain construction schedules including phasing. And other duties as assigned by your manager. What We're Looking for in You To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in drywall installation and repair
• Knowledge of industry tools and materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings Have commercial steel stud framing experience with knowledge of material, methods, tools, and plans/layouts/prints involved in the installation of framework for commercial/industrial buildings.

4 to 5 years of experience in steel stud carpentry. Tools and transportation. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to pass a drug test.
