The position involves installing and finishing drywall to create smooth, ready-to-paint surfaces.Apply now!Note: The hourly rate for this position is $23 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Learn more at .Responsibilities: Measure, cut, and hang drywall panels on walls and ceilings Secure drywall panels to the framing using screws or nails Apply drywall tape and joint compound to cover seams and imperfections Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to prepare them for painting or other finishes Work with other team members to ensure drywall is installed according to plans and specifications Perform repairs and touch-ups on finished surfaces as required Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: Proven experience as a drywall hanger and/or finisher in commercial construction Familiarity with drywall installation techniques, materials, and tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans Attention to detail to ensure a smooth, even finish on all drywall surfaces Physical ability to lift and handle drywall panels and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and reaching Must have personal tools of the trade and full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Reliable transportation to job sites TrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
