Please click here to apply internally. Key Responsibilities Stock and mix materials as required for finishing work. Apply joint compound and embed tape (paper and fiberglass) using hand or automatic tools. Perform skim coating, detail work, nail spotting, and finishing of angles. Install and finish outside corner guards and edge trim, including filling and sanding. Conduct final finishing to achieve Level 5 surfaces, ensuring smooth and uniform results. Prepare surfaces for paint, wallpaper, or other finishes on new construction and remodel projects. Apply simulated acoustical spray, smooth, or textured finishes as specified. Install fiberglass mesh, synthetic coating systems, and polystyrene foam sheeting (interior and exterior). Complete all necessary masking, surface protection, and cleanup associated with finishing work. Erect and disassemble scaffolding to support work at various heights. Conduct final quality checks, including punch list reviews, ensuring all work meets company and client standards. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher, Taper, or similar role. Strong knowledge of drywall finishing processes, tools, and materials. Ability to achieve high-quality finishes, including Level 5 standards. Skilled in using hand tools and automatic finishing tools. Knowledge of surface preparation for various finishes (paint, wallpaper, coatings, etc.). Ability to safely erect and disassemble scaffolding. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to lift, carry, and work at heights as required. Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
