Driver – Class C position available in Monrovia, CA. 91016

Full Time - 7am to 3:30pm - $20-$22/hour

Position Summary:

This role is in delivery and pick up of merchandise; may perform additional functions or duties as assigned by the Production Lead such as picking orders, putting away merchandise and maintaining company cleanliness.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for ensuring that all pick up and deliveries get to their destination with quality and timely delivery in mind. Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver finished parts to customer as scheduled.
• Pick up raw materials from suppliers as scheduled.
• Pick up and drop off parts or materials to sub-contractors as scheduled.
• Work in shipping department packaging and palletizing finished parts as needed.
• Maintain delivery truck, schedule tune-ups and oil changes as needed.
• Wash and clean exterior of truck as needed.
• Maintain drivers log and keep track of time and mileage.
• Maintain and secure a valid California driver’s license.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record and must maintain insurability status through Company auto and liability insurance.
• Must submit to and pass yearly Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) checks.
• Obey all traffic laws.
• Take work breaks and lunches as scheduled. See below.
• Complete special projects, cross train co-workers, and other shop related tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area, ensuring safety standards at all times.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Previous experience operating a forklift is strongly preferred. Forklift certification must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
