In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary, including moving larger pets safely during the grooming process.
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions and communicate findings to pet owners.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional dog and/or cat grooming (1+ Years)
• Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and styles.
• Ability to handle pets with care, especially anxious or nervous pets.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets.
• Must be able to lift dogs of various sizes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger animals.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and comfort.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
