Public Safety Dispatcher – Security Operations
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Hourly Pay: $18.50 – $21.00 DOE
Shift Availability: All Shifts (Days, Swings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays)

Intergraded Security Management Group (ISMG) is currently hiring Public Safety Dispatchers to join our dynamic operations team. If you have a calm, confident voice under pressure and thrive in high-stakes environments, we want to hear from you.

As a Public Safety Dispatcher, you will be the critical link between the public, our security teams, and emergency services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling incoming emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and accuracy.
• Prioritizing and dispatching security officers and support teams using two-way radio systems.
• Monitoring field unit locations, status, and live GPS feeds to ensure officer safety and operational coverage.
• Coordinating with external public safety agencies during emergencies.
• Maintaining detailed records, logs, and reports related to dispatch and incident activity.
• Learning and applying ISMG’s procedures, local geography, and police/security codes.
• Utilize our Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Software
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 2 years of clerical experience, preferably in a dispatch or public safety role.
  
• Typing speed of 45 WPM (corrected).
  
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
  
• Previous experience in public safety or law enforcement dispatching is highly preferred.
  
• POST Dispatcher Certification is a plus.
  

• Ability to stay calm, focused, and make quick decisions in emergency situations
  
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  
• Willingness to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to public and officer safety.

Prior Law Enforcement or Public Safety experience preferred

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING :

Requires equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade and 2 years of general clerical experience, a typing speed of 45 corrected wpm

Possession of, and continuously throughout employment, a valid CA Class C Driver’s License.

Certificated POST Basic Dispatch training preferred.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:

- Candidates must be able to pass a background investigation along with drug screening.

Qualification Guidelines:

- Education: Graduation from high school or recognized equivalent.

- Experience: Dispatching including two-way radio and call-taking operations.

- Ability to type at the rate of 45 wpm.

Special Requirements: Ability to work any shift in a 24-hour/day, 7-day/week operation on a rotational basis. Ability to work mandatory overtime. Ability and willingness to wear a mandatory uniform if required.
