Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Direct Support Professional in the Fairfax, Springfield, and Chantilly areas.

HOURLY RATE
* $13-$17 depending on a Contractor's experience, education, availability, and skills.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide supportive services for children and/or adults receiving Transitional Living Services in a variety of locations (residential shelters, detention, day/community services, or child's home)
* Document all activities specific to shift or service activity
* Fill in as assigned for any Aide level position in Residential services
* Ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environment in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations and generally accepted practices.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* A minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral issues
* CPR & First Aid Certification
* Ability to complete and satisfactorially pass given background checks
