The Sign Store is a “custom sign” shop. We have been creating signs of all kinds since 1998. The Sign Store is a family oriented, team driven success story that began in a garage and is now a successful midsize business. We create and manufacture a variety of signs including yard signs, channel letters, billboards, monument signs, and much more. Our culture is of friendly, loyal, professional employees that have been with the company for years.

We are looking for a Digital Print Technician to join our print shop. This is a full-time position. This person will assist in all functions and duties of the print shop as well as some installations.

Responsibilities:

The qualified applicant will posses an eye for detail and project management. This person will be responsible for assisting in keeping the print shop running on schedule. This person will help to run the print machines, apply vinyl graphics to substrates and assist in minor installs.

• Follow written layout instructions or placement of computer generated or full color graphic images on a predetermined substrate.
• Maintain printers, loading and unloading of rolls, maintain inks.
• prepare substrates for vinyl application which may involve cutting, plotting, laminating and cleaning.
• Finishing which may involve laminating, encapsulating or mounting of pieces.
• Organize and store materials
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
• Keep production area neat, organized and clean.
• maintain production rate consistency to meet or exceed production goals.
• will work on several tasks at one time.
• may perform vehicle wraps or installations.

Requirements:

• must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality of designs
• Creativity skills with attention to detail
