Job Type Internship Description IYF's Digital Development unit focuses on the appropriate use of technology to advance work within the international development sector. It is not a unit dedicated to digital marketing or digital business development/fundraising. The intern will advance IYF's efforts to leverage AI-powered career guidance tools, empowering the organization to better understand their appropriate application in different context. The ideal candidate is passionate about the use of technology to advance social causes and/or career counseling. Conduct an audit and complete a feature matrix of 5-10 existing AI-powered career guidance tools based on a provided rubric and assessment criteria Develop a public-facing write-up of the findings for use to inform decisions of youth-serving organizations globally Support ongoing Knowledge Management and/or impact measurement initiatives as appropriate Requirements Ability to thoroughly review digital resources that serve young people, identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and applicability across different context Ability to write in a manner that includes technical details while still being approachable and enjoyable Ability to quickly recognize when something is unclear and directly ask questions to address it Ability and willingness to respectfully communicate with supervisors when you think they are wrong Ability and willingness to interview people you've never met and capture insights from the conversations Ability to work 30 hours per week.
