Overview Leo NY is looking for aDesign Intern to join our agency! Must be in NYC for this program, this is not a remote opportunity. We provide an immersive, fast-paced, 10-week Summer Internship in which you will gain a comprehensive understanding of our business, be given real client deliverables, receive hands-on mentorship from award-winning industry professionals, develop your professional skills to meet day-to-day agency and client expectations, and collaborate in teams to solve a client's business challenge. This paid 10-week program runs June 2nd - August 8th, and is available to incoming college seniors and recent graduates. Applications will be accepted online through March 31, 2025 and we will notify selected candidates in late April/May. As a Design Intern, here's what you'll do: Concept and execute against creative briefs for existing clients. Not limited to digital and traditional media Obsess over the way the things you make look Nerd out over typography and layout Collaborate and participate with other members of the creative team to assist in the production and post-production of existing client deliverables Participate in client meetings, as well as present to internal teams Collaborate with other interns on a potential internal project As a Design Intern, here's what you should have: To be working toward (rising senior) or recently graduated from a degree in Design, Interactive Design, Digital Design, Visual Design or similar program Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and prototyping or motion/animation software as a bonus (Sketch, Invision, AfterEffects) An online portfolio showcasing your creative work An ability to make things, not just think about them Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and people skills To be self-motivated and proactive Interest in new and emerging platforms to consider, and an understanding of how to use technology to the advantage of the creative idea Hunger to learn from the management and executive team, and to be looking for a great place to grow and push creative boundaries Enjoyment of music, video games, ping pong, scooters, cinema, and eating fatty foods (a definite plus) Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Différence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
