Job Description
The Patient Care Coordinator is the director of first impressions for the office. You are responsible for maintaining the integrity and the patient’s first impression of the office. The PCC is also responsible for effectively managing the hygiene providers schedules while meeting or exceeding their daily production goals. Any changes, cancellations, etc. must be handled appropriately, minimizing open times in the schedule.
The Patient Care Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the practice’s insurance verification and supporting the Doctor Treatment & Appointment Coordinator on submitting and collecting on insurance claims. This position is goal-focused to help ensure the practice is able to maintain solvency and growth.
At all times, the PCC is to maintain and uphold the office’s values and integrity when communicating and interacting with patients. This includes educating patients, discussing finances and scheduling.
