Wabasha Dentistry seeks an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team as an Insurance and Treatment Coordinator. Our skilled team is committed to providing exceptional, comprehensive care to our loyal and growing family of patients. The ideal applicant must be a team player, punctual, and have excellent customer service skills.
Hours for Position: Monday-Wednesday 7:30am - 5:15pm, Thursday 6:30am to 4:15pm
Job Type: Full-time, on-site (no remote work) Pay: From $24.00 per hour, DOQ Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week
Required Qualifications:
· Dental Terminology Knowledge and Understanding
· Experience with Dentrix or similar EDR
· Insurance (Dental) claims and processing experience
· Dental Front Office Experience 1-3 Years
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Greet Patients
· Communicate with patients effectively in several forms of patient correspondence
· Schedule Patient Appointments
· Manage Patient Documents – HIPAA, insurance, health history, dental history, etc.
· Manage Insurance verification, submission, payment and follow-up
· Manage Insurance Relationships
· Provide treatment coordination between Doctor and Patient
· Manage Patient Financial Arrangements and Payment
· Collect Patient Payments
· Opening/Closing the office
Qualifications and Responsibilities
· Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED
· Associate’s degree or higher preferred
· Two years of experience in a dental setting
· Computer literacy including dental software and Microsoft Office suite.
· Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.
· Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
