Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum of 30-hours per week) Mission Ronald McDonald House Charities-Upper Midwest in partnership with our community, provides a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness. RMHC-UM operates four locations across in the Twin Cities, and one in Duluth, MN, serving over 6,700 families a year, providing 76 overnight rooms, meals and activities for families with kids facing a medical crisis. Job Summary The Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of administration across departments including financial and database responsibilities as well as filling in staffing gaps when needed. Primary Responsibilities Assisting the finance team with the following:

  • Accounts payable – scanning and entering of invoices for approval and payment in Financial Edge. Maintaining AP expense tracking sheet and updating operating bank and Check Log.
  • Coordinate the flow of all gift documentation from beginning to end.
  • Monitor the operating bank account for electronic payments and deposits.
  • Review and process daily receipts
  • Review and processing of In-Kind donation forms
  • Assist maintaining various inventories and assisting the fundraising team where needed.
  • Assist the finance team with monthly close process as well as audit prep.
Expected Hours of Work This is a non-exempt position. The hours of work are generally Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. Preferred Education and Experience Minimum of 2-year degree preferred. Blackbaud Raisers Edge/Financial Edge database experience a plus. Proven ability to multi-task and to refocus following numerous interruptions. Proven ability as a team player working with people of diverse ages and backgrounds. Competencies and Skills Desire to learn and grow professionally every day. Microsoft Office proficiency (excel, word, power point, etc..). Knowledge of Blackbaud software products is a definite plus. Core knowledge and skill in database, finance, volunteer and development departments. Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with RMHC families and volunteers. Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and other relevant privacy regulations. Ability to take initiative and persevere through difficult situations. Ability to work in a fluid environment with unexpected variations hroughout the workday. Ability to manage details, organize and prioritize. Compassion and the ability to work with families facing a health crisis or the loss of a child. Physical Requirements Frequently load and unload carts with donated items -- ability to lift 20 lbs. Frequently moves about to provide tours to families, volunteers, donors and hospital partners. Major Challenges Multiple responsibilities in a fluid environment.
