Data Center Administrator - Onsite daily Sunday through Thursday
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Data Center Administrator - to join our Network Facilities Team. Must have a proven background in supporting enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets/Data Centers!
Onsite at our Columbia, SC data center
Required Qualifications of the Data Center Administrator:
Responsibilities:
Provide support to Layer 1 aspects of the enterprise IT equipment in Data Closets/Data Centers. Also, experience tracing, running, and connecting all types of IT cabling in professional Data Center environments (Copper, Ethernet, Fiber, etc.). You will be responsible for "rack &stack" all network and server equipment in the primary data centers as well as supporting all Data Closets/Server Rooms across the enterprise. Staff includes 50 team members.
Position does require lifting data center equipment.
