Job Description

A hyperscale employer is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This Data Analyst will fall within Data Center Quality organization working on a new initiative connecting various data sources to analyze end-to-end performance. They will be responsible for helping collect, curate, build, and analyze unstructured data sets pertaining to Data Center Construction.


Day to Day:

* Compile the list of issues that occur throughout the phases of data center construction from the various data sources

* Review multiple unstructured data sources, compile and build structure data sets to run SQL queries and visualize on dashboards/actionable insights

* Associate the appropriate root causes to process/procedure from available data sources (not identifying Root Causes, just reading through reports and concluding and tracking root causes)

* Help drive and build a structured database for deriving and measuring product performance

* Monitor status of action items through issue tracker tools and resolve them in a timely manner

* Experience working remotely and across many time zones (e. g., may require meetings outside normal business hours)

* Experience with issue-tracking systems

* Work experience at Google
* 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst

* Experience with SQL (writing scripts)

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or quality management or equivalent experience

* Experience with data analysis and visualization

* Basic understanding of data center infrastructure or similar industrial infrastructure (mission critical, manufacturing, warehouse)

* Basic understanding of construction engineering project management
