GP PRO (Georgia-Pacific Professional) is looking for a Customer Development Leader (CDL) to drive distributor growth with our Texas customers. The CDL will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of regional distributors located in the South U.S. Home-based in the Dallas Metro Area, this position reports to the Market Sales Vice President. What You Will Do Develop and manage relationships with directly assigned distributor partners. Create, implement and manage strategic programs and plans to deliver volume and margin objectives. Plan and facilitate distributor sales meetings, training new Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) on GP PRO solutions. Develop Power DSRs within the assigned distributor base, identifying opportunities and generating leads for Field Sales Consultants. Understand GP PRO capabilities, such as Supply Chain, GPXpress, Customer Service / Order & Logistics, and Marketing, and use this knowledge to create Joint Business Plans to drive mutual value areas for GP and its customers. Address logistics / shipping issues by working with Customer Service Reps to effectively communicate to accounts and drive process improvements. Collaborate with Market Sales Teams to drive connectivity and growth within distributor customers. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development role. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Willing to travel up to 50%. What Will Put You Ahead Track record of successful sales performance. Experience with creative and strategic thinking.
