About Bathhouse

Bathhouse is a home for people to look, feel, and perform their very best. Guests utilize our amenities—thermal pools, saunas, steam rooms—in a sleek, modern, and socially engaging atmosphere. We offer best-in-class massages and scrubs that are protocol-driven treatments delivered by an elite team of practitioners. Anybody with a body can benefit from a Bathhouse service.. We focus on functionality over preciousness and recovery over relaxation—the "anti-spa" spa experience. We are industry rebels. Join us.

Role Overview

Bathhouse is reimagining the modern wellness experience—and we believe our people are at the heart of that transformation. We are excited to launch Bathhouse University , a company-wide learning initiative designed to elevate hospitality excellence, develop career pathways, and bring our brand values to life across every role. We're looking for a Curriculum Developer to design and implement immersive learning experiences that empower our team to thrive.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about translating knowledge into accessible, motivating learning experiences—someone who can capture the magic of what makes Bathhouse unique and turn it into a structured curriculum that empowers every team member.

Responsibilities
  • Write and develop curriculum for in-person, virtual, and self-paced training programs, including onboarding and culture, hospitality training, treatment education, wellness literacy, leadership development, and a variety of technical skills.
  • Collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts (treatment leads, reservationists, managers, etc.) to gather content and translate it into effective instructional materials (scripts, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, job aids, quizzes, etc.).
  • Partner with People & Culture and Marketing to align all learning materials with core values, brand tone, and company goals.
  • Customize curriculum to meet the needs of different employee cohorts—frontline, back-of-house, seasonal employees, and managers.
  • Create and workshop learning paths that support professional growth and mobility within the company (e.g., guest services → supervisor → general manager).
  • Organize and manage a curriculum library that supports both team-led learning and independent development.
  • Contribute to the visual design and structure of learning materials in partnership with the creative team, ensuring an intuitive and branded learning experience.
  • Assist in implementing curriculum through a Learning Management System (LMS), and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about hospitality training trends, wellness education, and instructional design best practices to keep materials fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Hospitality, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience writing and developing curriculum.
  • Knowledgeable in several different learning modalities, such as flipped classroom, gamification, collaborative learning, etc..
  • Demonstrated ability to create instructional materials that are clear, engaging, and actionable.
  • Strong interviewing and collaboration skills—able to extract insights from experts and turn them into digestible training content.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills—able to strike a balance between informative and inspiring.
  • Strong organizational and version control skills; able to manage multiple projects and iterations simultaneously.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms or LMS (like Workday Learning) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, especially for frontline and non-desk workers, is highly valuable.
  • A passion for hospitality, wellness, and creating environments where people love to learn and grow.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Job Type : Full-time.
  • Comp : $120 - 150K
  • Benefits :
    • Health insurance.
    • Free unlimited admission to Bathhouse with a plus one.
    • 50% off services, products, and restaurant.
