Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Clare, MI

Payrate: $18.50 an hour:

Shift: 8 am to 4 pm

What's the Job?

• Operate and perform set-ups on manual and CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and presses.
• Contribute to the production of all products by ensuring quality and efficiency in machine operation.
• Manage multiple CNC machines simultaneously, such as Lathes and Mills, with minimal supervision.
• Create and monitor 2.5 – 5-axis mill and mill-turn toolpath strategies using Inventor CAM software.
• Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment REQUIRED
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using tape measures.
• Familiarity with Inventor CAM software.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
