CNC Machinist
Using your experience, set up and prove out programs on 4 or 5 axis CNC milling machines and machining centers to machine complex parts from various metals and composites to meet the tight tolerances required in the aerospace and defense industries. Shift
2nd Shift: Mon - Fri (Can do 4 day-12 hour shift or 5 day-10 hour shift)
\nResponsibilities
\nWork from routed instructions, manufacturing process plans, blue prints and verbal instructions under moderate supervision.
\nPlan and make set-ups using needed tools for the CNC program per the set-up sheet.
\nUse a variety of hand held measuring instruments.
\nMay write programs at the machine.
\nDownload and upload programs at the machine.
\nCompletes accompanying routers as operations are successfully finished before moving.
\nQualifications
\nHigh school career machine trades program is preferred.
\nG&M coding experience.
\nAbility to read blue prints and working knowledge of GD&T.
\nMechanical and spatial aptitude.
\nMust have own tools.
