Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist/Operator
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist/Operator to join our team for the 1st shift from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. In this role, you will set up and operate one or more CNC or NC lathes, performing various operations such as turning, facing, boring, threading, and drilling. You will work under the supervision of the Shop Supervisor or Department Lead Person.
ResponsibilitiesJoin a larger, family-owned machine shop where you will have opportunities for advancement and learning on the job. You are not just a number; the owner will get to know you and interact with you personally.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying noise levels. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes, hearing, and eye protection while in the shop. The shop setting may be dirty, and 90% of the business involves the cutting and machining of graphite. The company has excellent air filtration and dust collection systems, but it can still be a very dirty environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
