*Job Summary:*
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for all nursing services across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CNO plays a critical role in promoting quality care, fostering a culture of safety and respect, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, and acute care, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of emergency and obstetric care and Medicare regulations.
*Responsibilities:*
- Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure a high level of patient care and satisfaction
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA
- Develop and manage budgets for nursing services
- Monitor and analyze clinical data to identify areas for improvement
- Foster a culture of patient rights and dignity
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community, advocating for the needs of patients and families
- Stay current with industry trends and developments, and incorporate best practices into nursing operations
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field required
- Current RN licensure
- Strong background in acute care, emergency care, and obstetrics.
- Proven experience in nursing leadership roles, preferably as a CNO or similar position
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and standards
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with medical records and electronic health records (EHRs)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
