The CMO will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality and safe care to patients and families. This role is a key leadership position, with a focus on advancing quality, safety, and care delivery, particularly in the context of the organization's recent expansion and increased patient volumes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both clinical and administrative roles, with a significant portion of their time dedicated to clinical duties. The CMO will also be expected to have a proven track record in improving clinical care delivery, access, and throughput, as well as experience in quality and safety improvement methodologies. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should be board-certified in pediatrics or a pediatric sub-specialty, with a minimum of 10-15 years' of clinical experience and 5-10 years' in a leadership role. A graduate degree in a related field is preferred, along with certifications in healthcare quality and/or as a physician executive. The role requires a leader with strong management skills, the ability to mentor and collaborate with providers, and a history of working effectively with physicians to achieve strategic objectives. Experience in both community and academic pediatric healthcare settings, as well as a background in building regional clinical programs, is highly valued.
