About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership and vision for its information technology and institutional research functions. The CIO will be responsible for developing and implementing an IT strategy that aligns with the company's mission and strategic plan, ensuring the security and reliability of technical operations, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years of leadership experience in IT. A background in higher education is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective communication, relationship building, and a commitment to professional development for themselves and their staff. Necessary skills include knowledge of IT strategic planning, budget management, enterprise systems, and data analysis. The CIO will also be expected to have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance the demands of agile operations with the need for reliable and secure IT capabilities.
