About the Role
The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its philanthropic fraternal life insurance benefit organization. The successful candidate will be the primary driver of the company's vision and strategy, with a key focus on meeting members' financial security needs and fostering future membership growth. This role requires a deep appreciation of fraternal organizations, a commitment to benevolence, and a thorough understanding of the financial and operational aspects of the life insurance and annuity industry. The CEO will be responsible for maintaining the organization's financial strength, balancing its mission with fiduciary duties, and ensuring positive relationships with the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders. Applicants for the CEO position at the company must have more than 10 years' of industry experience in the life insurance and annuity sector, as well as a background in executive leadership with a history of engaging with or serving on a Board of Directors. A Bachelor's degree relevant to the industry is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or industry certifications. The role demands a leader who can set and achieve strategic goals, build and maintain a system that aligns members, agents, and employees, and who operates with the highest level of integrity, transparency, and sound judgment. The CEO will also be expected to develop and pursue a growth strategy for membership and to be an ambassador, role model, and community leader for the organization.
