Job Summary: Overview :
The College of Fine Arts Ambassador Program accepts motivated undergraduate students who wish to promotes greater cohesion and cooperation between the units of the College of Fine Arts and positively represent CFA to prospective students, visitors, community members. CFA ambassadors are expected to learn about and promote other units of the College of Fine Arts beyond their own majors and minors. CFA Ambassadors must be in good academic standing with the University of Kentucky and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above. CFA Ambassador Main Responsibilities and Activities: CFA Ambassadors may participate in the Ambassador Program to earn 1 credit hour in FA 399 in their first semester of the program. Participation will be tracked by successful completion and attendance of recruiting events, which will be earned through activities including, but not limited to: · Represent CFA at college resource fairs on campus· Assist in the CFA Open House for Spring 2025, as well as virtual visits, Accepted Student Days, Bluegrass Day, and Merit Weekends.
· Host prospective students and their families on campus through tours and student shadowing opportunities · Create original content for social media outreach and collaborate with team to highlight student centered content · Implement recruitment strategies through phone calls, note cards, testimonials, programs, and other initiatives · Maintain status as a positive role model and representative of CFA
