Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Estimator in Carpentry with C-3 carpentry and C-4 painting and decorating classifications experience to join our team.
Must have experience with programs such as Bluebeam and any other construction takeoff and estimating tools like Procore and Autodesk.
As a Carpentry Estimator, you will be responsible for determining the total cost of carpentry projects. Knowledge of wood framing, drywall taping and finishing, insulation, paint, acoustic ceilings, overhead garage doors, cabinets, wall coverings and sandblasting is required.
Your responsibilities include conducting thorough research, analyzing data, and interpreting plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the carpentry construction process, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively.
