About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group career coaching sessions to students, evaluating their needs, and offering appropriate resources and support throughout the career development process. This includes assisting with interest and personality inventory interpretation, major and career exploration, resume preparation, job search, interview preparation, and the development of career plans. The role also involves facilitating the use of online career management systems, conducting career readiness presentations and workshops, and coordinating various career events on campus. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and preferably two years of experience in student counseling, career coaching, or related areas. The role requires a strong knowledge of career assessments and counseling techniques, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with career services management systems is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in public relations, and marketing, and be adept at using technology and social media to enhance career services. Certification in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and/or Strong Interest Inventory is preferred.
