About the Role

The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a career services coach and advisor, empowering students to engage in early career exploration, skill-building, and the creation of meaningful career pathways. This role involves providing comprehensive career coaching services, including industry exploration, goal setting, and development of career plans. The Career Coach will also be responsible for program implementation support, such as planning and delivering industry-focused career programming, and will represent the career services in various meetings and conferences. The position is part of the student affairs team and is dedicated to fostering the wellness, belonging, and success of all students. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years' of experience in career services, or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years' of experience. The role requires excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in working with students in a career or mentoring capacity, and experience with career-related technology tools. Responsibilities also include research on employment trends and best practices in career coaching, and a commitment to continued professional development. The Career Coach will be expected to collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance student-employer connections and may be involved in special projects and events within the college.
