Job Openings Business Immigration Paralegal BIZ - San Francisco, California Department BIZ Employment Type Full-Time Compensation 59-71k DOE Van Der Hout LLP is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our expanding employment and family-based immigration practice. This full-time, in-office position offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys in preparing non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, and other immigration-related filings. The successful candidate must be able to work with moderate supervision and guidance in reviewing case documents and preparing employment-based immigration petitions/applications for filing with various government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in immigration law, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and excellent communication skills. Duties And Responsibilities Preparing of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including but not limited to: H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, and I-140. Manage status of cases filed applications and petitions. Communicate with clients regarding case processing issues. Run reports to monitor deadlines. Monitor and update status of cases using case management and client database systems. Qualifications At least 2 years of paralegal experience in business immigration. Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and writing skills. Computer literacy. Customer service skills. Proficiency with case management software and other reporting tools and technologies used to manage data.
