We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The Box Truck Driver will ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Operate a box truck to transport goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and optimize fuel consumption.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and completing necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
- Assist with inventory management and organization in the warehouse or distribution center as needed.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
