Job Description
Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Boat Rigger to join our boat manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll install mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems during the production of high-quality boats. Ideal candidates may have experience in boat rigging, marine tech, mechanical assembly, or similar manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
· Install and align steering systems, engines, wiring harnesses, trim tabs, and controls.
· Route and secure electrical wiring, fuel lines, and plumbing to spec.
· Mount hardware and accessories (seats, hatches, lighting, rails, etc.).
· Perform system functionality tests and ensure compliance with safety standards.
· Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions.
· Collaborate with team leads and coworkers to hit daily production goals.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
· Troubleshoot and resolve rigging or system installation issues.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (required).
· Prior marine manufacturing or boat rigging experience (preferred).
· Proficient with hand/power tools and precision measuring equipment.
· Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
· Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
· Positive team player and dependable communicator.
