A manufacturing company near the Bardstown, KY area is looking for a Bilingual (Japanese-English) Translator/Interpreter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous interpreting experience within a manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities :

• Translation of documents, emails, and audio
• Multicultural communication in office and factory settings
• Assist in employee training (written/verbal translation)
• Assistance with HR communication and team activities
• Respond to and address administrative inquiries and questions
• Cross department communication and reporting
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Japanese-English interpretation and translation
• Near-first language or business-level fluency in Japanese and English
• Basic understanding of administration & clerical procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 20 pounds
