Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team, focusing on business and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in a broad range of disputes, including breach of contract, interpretation and enforcement of contractual provisions, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, injunction and emergency relief litigation, and fraud.

The role involves handling all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and case strategy through pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and dispute resolution. Our clients span a wide array of industries, including real estate, construction, oil and gas, technology, healthcare, financial services, transportation, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in state and federal courts in business and commercial disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Manage discovery, including depositions, document production, and expert witness coordination.
• Develop case strategy and advise clients on risk mitigation and litigation exposure.
• Assist in trial preparation and participate in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with partners and other team members on high-stakes matters.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral adovacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Litigation experience and knowledge of court procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission
