The Law Office of Laurie R. Chane is located in Dade City/East Pasco County, one of the fastest-growing areas in the United States. We are close to Tampa, home to major professional sports teams including the Lightning, Bucs, and a soon-to-be women's professional soccer team. We are also near several universities such as USF, St. Leo, and Pasco Hernando Community College. Our firm is well-respected and offers a variety of practice areas with significant opportunities for professional growth. We are conveniently within walking distance of the Courthouse.

Our firm primarily handles family law, collaborative law, elder law, estate planning, and probate. With over 30 years of practice, Ms. Laurie R. Position Overview: We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team—someone who is driven, compassionate, and eager to serve clients. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a hunger for learning, and a desire to lead and grow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in expanding their expertise across multiple practice areas.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of cases across multiple areas of practice.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and litigation.
• Mediate for clients and attend hearings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a positive attitude in all interactions.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the firm through innovative thinking and problem-solving.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Proficiency in computer systems and cloud-based office systems.
• 1-5 years of experience in family law, estate planning, or elder law preferred, with a willingness to learn litigation law if not already familiar.
• Excellent research, writing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple client files and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Team player with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic legal environment.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems (MS Office 365, Clio, Wealth Counsel, DPA).

• $65,000 - $100,000: Commensurate with your experience.
