Job Description

Our client is a prominent New York City (Mid-Town Manhattan) Personal Injury Law Firm. They specialize in representing clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, mass tort, and more. The position is full-time in the office.

They are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney (Plaintiff Side) to join their team of top-rated attorneys.

Main Responsibilities

• Meet with potential clients to assess their cases.
• Provide legal advice and outline possible courses of action
• Investigate accident reports, medical records, and witness statements.
• Gather and analyze evidence to build a strong case.
• Consult with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other professionals.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Seek to maximize settlement amounts before proceeding to trial.
• Draft legal documents (complaints, motions, & discovery requests).
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
• Present arguments, question witnesses, and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Keep clients informed about case progress and legal strategies.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while deadlines are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state of New York
• Must have excellent research and writing skills
• Experience in personal injury law preferred. (Plaintiff side only)

Salary is between $125,000 - $150,000 + compensation on all cases settled that you originate. Solid benefits.
