Our client, a local truss manufacturer is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of a team responsible for safely handling lumber products. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, punctual, and reliable which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Folkston, GA

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Labels materials (lumber) by type, size and count.
• Moves, bands, bundles, and secures lumber products and other materials.
• Ensures correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving work area.
• Maintains accurate inventory of tags and records production on production sheets.

What’s Needed?

• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read a tape measure and moisture meter.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and stand for 9 hours
