Operations Associate I

Join our team as an Operations Associate I, where you will play a crucial role in assembling medical devices in accordance with FDA guidelines and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in mechanical or electronic assembly, looking to grow their career in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical devices, including prototype inspection, modifications, upgrades, and building according to manufacturing documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy of finished assemblies and packaging for quality output.
  • Perform mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, drivers, and sockets.
  • Assist in maintaining strict configuration controls.
  • Perform transactions in the ERP system using basic computer skills.
  • Communicate effectively and explain work experience in detail during interviews.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in mechanical or electronic assembly.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and able to read blueprints.
  • Understanding of quality standards and requirements.
  • Ability to stand all day and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as a repair technician with mechanical troubleshooting and repair of small devices.
  • Familiarity with soldering, electronics, wiring, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of schematic, SAP, Oracle, and medical device assembly.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
