Accounting Coordinator

Summary:
A CRG client in the Triad is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their elite team of professionals! The Accounting Coordinator will assist the Controller with auditing requests and reporting, review AP vendor statements, and assisting in a timely month end close. This position will require a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to work across the organization at all levels, comfort with change and growth, and a high degree of flexibility to take on a variety of cross-functional tasks.

• $22-25/hr BOE

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller by responding to information requests for auditing purposes and commissions reporting, while assisting the Accounting Manager with Month-End Close duties.
• Review and correct Purchase Orders, Work Orders, AP vendor statements, and timesheet entries.
• Ensure spreadsheet accuracy while reaching out to vendors to confirm timely payments and confirm Purchase Order numbers if missing.
• Manage depreciation of fixed assets and additions to fixed asset register; Maintain monthly SPIFF calculation and payments.
• Maintain AR and cash applications including sales tax adjustments and write off adjustments as needed.
• Create new work projects including estimates and contract information.
• Pick up mail from post office and sister property (all within GSO).

Qualifications:

• Associate in accounting or finance preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting tasks.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize time, and communicate effectively.
• Team-player, dependable, energetic.
