Position Summary

A leading global supply chain management company of agriculture commodities for feed and fibre is seeking a self-motivated individual for a position in our TSF – Trade & Structured Finance department located in Richardson, TX. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking. This role will report to the Vice President – Head of Americas Distribution.

TSF is a global business unit focused to provide liquidity and financial solutions to several stakeholders in the emerging markets (banks, customers, suppliers, farmers). It structures various financial products by leveraging its global footprint and trade flows. TSF works with all business units across Olam to find ways to add value to their businesses.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyze and conduct research on financial institutions to identify business opportunities in coordination with Origination and Execution TSF teams.
  • Assist in structuring and executing trade structured finance transactions and deals.
  • Support the preparation of TSF Distribution team reports and participate in discussions related to new agreements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to trade finance transactions, including term sheets of proposed deals.
  • Keep track of TSF Distribution deals and performance against objectives for the year and build monthly updates through managing reports.
  • Participate in new product discussions with internal counter parties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to understand and meet our business needs.
  • Prepare and manage the agenda for various domestic and international events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English highly desired.
  • Basic understanding of Trade Finance is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams across many geographies and time zones.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, ad hoc requests, and meet deadlines.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a corporate environment preferably in a trade finance role.
