Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to teach English to children aged 3 to 18, based in Asia, through fully remote lessons. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work from home and set your own schedule. Teachers will deliver 25-minute one-on-one lessons, using interactive teaching methods like Total Physical Response (TPR) to engage students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach one-on-one English lessons to children aged 3-18
Deliver engaging 25-minute lessons using TPR methods
Maintain an energetic, approachable, and professional demeanor
Commit to a minimum of 10 peak hours per week
Follow provided curriculum and teaching materials
Ensure punctuality and preparedness for each class

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (preferred fields: Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, English, or Literature)
A teaching license or certification from a recognized agency (US or Canadian state license or teaching association)
At least 1 year of teaching experience in public or international schools
Ability to teach using TPR methods

Skills and Qualities:

Energetic, approachable, and passionate about inspiring students
Punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Technical Requirements:

PC specifications: Intel Core i5 2.3 GHz or above (Windows), MacBook Pro/iMac (2016+), or MacBook Air (2020+), 8GB RAM or greater
Stable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps bandwidth (min 10 Mbps download)
Accessories: Noise-cancelling headphones, HD webcam, and a clean, well-lit, quiet teaching environment

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 6 PM - 9 PM Beijing Time
Saturday to Sunday: 9 AM - 9 PM Beijing Time
Teachers must commit to at least 10 peak hours per week

$15 USD per hour
