We are looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner to join our team. Candidate will perform as a Product Owner on a Scrum team that is part of a larger project with 7-10 other Scrum teams. This position will be located on-site at Dahlgren Naval base with potential for hybrid telework. The Product Owner should have some experience working within Agile development frameworks, including Scrum. This individual will be able to quickly come up to speed on project-specific processes and ceremonies, be a self-starter, a team player, and a quick study on the project-specific features and capabilities.

What you will do...:

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders from different organizations to understand their needs
• Translate stakeholder needs to development Epics and Features (increments of work)
• Identify Planning Increment (PI) Objectives
• Maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog
• Test work items when they reach the corresponding status
• Support feature and validation testing across multiple domains
• Provide capability demonstrations to the user community and stakeholders
• Potential Regional Travel

Skills you will need...:

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and have a Secret Clearance which is required for this position. TS/SCI is highly preferred.
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience with Agile planning tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience: ??

• ? A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred, but not required

• Having served as a PO, experience participating in Product Backlog and Refinement meetings, retrospectives, etc.
