- Conductingassessments of the interests, functional levels, and the physical, mental, andpsychosocial needs of all residents
- DevelopingActivities care plan goals and approaches and communicate resident responses
- Encouragingresident participation in activities while respecting resident choice
- Interactingwith residents, family members, co-workers, and visitors
Theideal candidate will possess the following:
- Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Licensedor registered by Indiana as eligible for certification as a TherapeuticRecreation Specialist or as an Activities professional by a recognizedaccrediting body
- Twoyears of experience in a social or recreational program
- Year of full-time employment in an Activities Program in a health care setting
