We are currently looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Social Worker to join our team!
The Activity Director at Cedar Ridge Inn plays an important and trusted role in the lives of our residents and their families. As the Activity Director at Cedar Ridge Inn, they will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the activities department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as directed by the Administrator.
Sign on bonus: $3,000 for a one year commitment
What you will bring to the table:
- Must possess, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) of college. Degree preferred but not necessary.
- Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is licensed by the state and is eligible for certification as a recreation specialist or as an activities professional; or
- Or must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience in a social or recreation program within the last five (5) years, one (1) of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting
- Experience working with the elderly highly preferred
- Strong ability to manage, multi-task and communicate effectively
- Excellent work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality service
