Accounting Manager

CFS is working with a local nonprofit, seeking an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will provide financial leadership and oversight for the organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing cash flow, and complying with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Allocate and review work for accuracy and efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with grant reporting and compliance.
• Internal Controls:
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and reviews.
• Assist with external audits and reviews.
• Special Projects:
• Collaborate with program directors and staff to provide financial guidance and support.
• Undertake special projects as needed to support the organization's financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus but not required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Salary: $85,000 - 90,000

Location: Tigard, Oregon - Onsite position
