Join Our Client's Team as an Accountant!

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for an exciting opportunity to excel in your career? We're on the lookout for a meticulous Accountant to join our client's sports organization and play a key role in the financial operations. As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with audit preparations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Accountant:

• Execute timely month-end accounting close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to the improvement of process workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with customer invoicing, credit, and collections to ensure timely payments.
• Support the weekly vendor payment process and assist with annual 1099/1042 preparation.
• Play a key role in the annual audit process by preparing audit schedules and assisting auditors as needed.
• The Accountant will perform other accounting duties as assigned to support the needs of the organization.

Education and Experience for the Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus, but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with knowledge of GAAP.
• Familiarity with working with various foreign currencies is a big bonus!

Required Skills and Competencies for the Accountant:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and database management skills preferred.
• Attention to detail is a must to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
